Gifts from my boy and ABC art.

I love this sweet boy! He bought me home some gifts last week from school a little wooden man,

and a beautiful yellow daffodil.

It's mother's day on Sunday I wonder if he will be bringing home any other sweet things :)

A couple of posts back I showed some of my crafts including this alphabet art it was such fun to do some paper craft I haven't done any for a couple of years, when we all changed bedrooms I lost my desk, I now mainly work in the kitchen sewing but still enjoy paper crafts when I can, I used K&Co Alphabet transfers onto paper and covered them with Glossy Accents it made them raised and shine, not really visible in the photo.

More t-shirts with Ribbon.

I had a lot of fun making my first ever t-shirt for Aidan, (Lion head t-shirt) and wanted to think of some other fun designs to put on the front of some shirts for summer, I picked up these tops 3 for £2 in Asda a great deal with the normal cost being £2 plus each. I went for a Space Rocket and Aliens and was able to include tags of ribbon as well for added texture :)

Aidan has this comfort thing where is enjoys rubbing the inside of collars and hems, I thought it would be a fun idea to put ribbon hoops for a lions mane so he will be able to have a tactile fun

t-shirt to wear and rub the tags when he's tired.

I only used what I had in the house and didn't have any orange ribbon but I think theses colours worked out ok.

I hand sewed the face and pinned all the ribbon on before sewing around with the machine to keep ribbon in place before attaching it to a t-shirt.

Sore Nose

We have not been well around here for the past week and boxes of tissues are now in every room being used a lot!

I don't like the thought of Aidan's nose getting sore, and while sorting through some old baby stuff came across an old blanket, (brain ticking)

What can I make, hankies! I cut up the blanket and know have a stash of super soft re-useable tissues! Got to love a bit of re-cyclying.
